This week on "Common Sense" we will be discussing economic freedom with Ryan Mack, founder of the Optimum Institute of Economic Empowerment and former Atlanta Braves Pitcher John Rocker about their initiatives to empower communities with the crucial life skill of financial literacy. While Ryan Mack and John Rocker may have different political viewpoints, they have come together because they share the common value of empowering people through financial literacy and realize that this is the pathway to political freedom. John Rocker also started a 501(c)3 organization, Save Homeless Vets, which seeks to find homes for the men and women who have bravely served our country. Ryan Mack helps the organization by offering financial literacy education to the population it serves. John Rocker is author of the book, "Rocker: Scars and Strikes" and Ryan Mack is author of the book "Living in the Village."
