A brawl, a receiver's return, a rookie's coming out party and another comeback.
Nick Foles tossed two of his three touchdown passed to second-round rookie Jordan Matthews and the Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) edged the Washington Redskins (1-2) 37-34 on Sunday afternoon.
DeSean Jackson made his return to Philadelphia and his 81-yard touchdown reception to tie the game at 27-27 highlighted a five-catch, 117-yard performance. Kirk Cousins played admirably in his first game filling in for Robert Griffin III this season, completing 30-of-48 passes for 427 yards with three touchdowns and an interception.
Foles, meanwhile, was 27-of-41 for 325 yards for the Eagles, who became the first team in NFL history to start 3-0 after trailing by at least 10 points in each game.
